This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. It is written for a small U.S. SaaS product used by contractors. It is meant to be honest and proportional.
By using the Pro app, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Account information
When you create or manage an account, we collect information such as:
- Name
- Business name (if provided)
- Email address
- Password (stored in hashed form; we never see your plain password after you set it)
- Phone number (if you provide it)
- Plan and User-seat settings
1.2 Billing information
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers and full payment-method details are collected and stored by Stripe—they never touch JD Northern LLC's servers. We receive billing-related metadata from Stripe (for example, last four digits, card brand, billing email, subscription status, invoices, and tax amounts calculated by Stripe Tax).
1.3 Customer Data you put in the Pro app
You may enter job, estimate, client, and related business information into the Pro app. We process that content to provide the Service. You control what you enter; we do not sell it.
1.4 Usage and device data
We may collect:
- Log data (for example, IP address, browser or app type, pages or screens viewed, approximate timestamps)
- Feature usage (for example, which parts of the Pro app you use)
- Device and session information needed to keep you signed in and diagnose problems
1.5 Cookies and similar technologies
We and our providers may use cookies or similar technologies to:
- Keep you signed in
- Remember preferences
- Measure basic product usage and reliability
- Support security
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect login or core features.
1.6 Support communications
If you email techsupport@drywall101.com or otherwise contact us, we keep the content of that communication and your contact details so we can help you.
1.7 Marketing
We only send promotional or marketing emails if you consent (or as otherwise allowed by law). Transactional messages—receipts, security alerts, billing notices, and service updates—are not marketing and may be sent as needed to run your account.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide the Service — create accounts, authenticate Users, deliver Pro app features, and sync your data
- Bill and collect payment — process subscriptions, Extra Users, renewals, taxes, refunds, and failed-payment retries via Stripe
- Support you — answer questions and fix issues
- Operate and improve the product — understand usage, fix bugs, and improve reliability and features
- Security and fraud prevention — protect accounts and the Service
- Legal compliance — meet tax, accounting, and other legal obligations
- Marketing (only with consent) — optional product news or offers; you can opt out of marketing emails at any time
We do not sell your personal information.
3. How we share information
We share personal information only as needed to run the Service:
3.1 Service providers
- Stripe — payment processing, subscriptions, invoicing, and sales tax calculation (Stripe Tax)
- Google Cloud — hosting and related infrastructure for the Pro app
A current list of subprocessors is available on request by emailing techsupport@drywall101.com.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices, and only as needed to perform services for us.
3.2 Legal and safety
We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that it is required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of JD Northern LLC, our users, or others.
3.3 Business transfers
If JD Northern LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and this Policy's spirit.
3.4 With your direction
We may share information when you ask us to (for example, exporting data to you or involving a team member you authorize).
We do not sell personal data to third parties for their advertising.
4. Data retention and deletion
We retain account and billing records for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for support, dispute resolution, tax, and legal recordkeeping.
When you cancel, we may disable access and later delete or anonymize Customer Data and account data that we no longer need, except where we must keep records (for example, invoices or tax records).
Deletion requests: You may request deletion of personal information by emailing techsupport@drywall101.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and delete or anonymize data where we are not required to keep it. Some information may remain in backups for a limited period until those backups rotate.
You should export any Customer Data you need before canceling.
5. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate for a small SaaS business to protect personal information (for example, encrypted connections in transit, hashed passwords, and access limited to people who need it).
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact techsupport@drywall101.com immediately.
Card data is handled by Stripe under Stripe's security program; we do not store full card numbers.
6. Children's privacy
The Pro app is a business tool for contractors and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will delete it.

- Deletion: Request deletion as described in Section 4
- Cookies: Manage through your browser settings

8. International users
The Service is offered for use in the United States at this time. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you understand that information may be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
